    Description

This vehicle was purchased from its previous owner in the Fall of 2020. It was privately owned by a man who owned a farm. The Odometer currently reads 27,425. This vehicle was stored inside one of his buildings and is in good condition for its age. The paint looks nice... not award winning... but nice. and the tires are in good condition. The tires are 38" on steel wheels. To access the front 4x4 hubs, you will need to remove the original wheel covers on the front wheels. You also have the option of taking out the center of the wheel covers for easier access. Since we never drove it in the snow, we did not have an immediate need for doing that. The engine is a 351 that runs strong and does not smoke. There are no spots on our driveway where it has been parked since last November, so it is assumed that the engine is not leaking any fluids. The transmission is a 4 Speed Manual with a T handle shifter. Many of the modifications were done by the previous owner. I am not sure of the brand of suspension lift or exactly how much higher than stock it is. Also the gear ratio is unknown. The combination of the large tires, the 351 and the current gear ratio is well balanced. Since this vehicle spent most of its life stored inside a building, the amount of rust is minimal. The body is in good shape for its age. The floors and rockers are strong as well. I am sure some repairs and have been made over the years, but everything seems well done and strong. This truck was originally candy apple red and came with a 302 with an automatic transmission. It also came with dual fuel tanks, however only the one in the rear is used. It was ordered as a Sport package when Pulaski Motor Company in Pulaski Virginia ordered it new. This vehicle also features power brakes and power steering. A new master cylinder was installed a few months ago. The doors and tailgate open and close like they should. They do not fall down when opened and are aligned properly. It has not been driven much in the past 4 months and due to not being driven regularly, sometimes the carburetor acts up and you have to use the knob on the dash to manually adjust the choke depending on the temperature outside. This Bronco also has a full roll cage installed from front to back. The cigarette lighter element has never been used to even light 1 cigarette, clearly the rear fenders were modified to allow for the larger tires and the front 2 wheel covers have Ford Galaxie centers in them just so they match the rears. Due to the width of the aftermarket wheels, the front hubs do not protrude through the caps. They are slightly recessed. The seats are aftermarket and the rear seat is a period correct Bronco seat, but not the original rear seat. This Bronco comes with a Deluxe Marti Report, the original dealer brochure, and the original owners manual.
This 1977 Bronco comes with a "Rebuilt Maryland Title. The VIN Plate is pictured in the auction. This was certified in the state of Pennsylvania by the previous owner. The vehicle VIN is the original VIN assigned to this vehicle. Pennsylvania took 6 months to release the title from Pennsylvania to MD due to this process happening during the pandemic when many offices shut down that caused major delays. The in Pennsylvania DMV requires a tracing that is obtained by placing tracing paper against the VIN plate and applying pressure with a lead pencil, stroking left to right across the entire surface of the VIN plate to produce on the paper an image of all information which has been embossed on the plate. Due to the glove box being replaced many years ago and not being able to easily read the VIN on the frame due to an aftermarket suspension bracket covering the location, The state of Pennsylvania issued a new and numbers matching VIN Plate so a tracing could be done to follow Pennsylvania protocol. This vehicle was not wrecked into salvage or rebuilt from an accident. The title only states "Rebuilt" because that was marked on there by Pennsylvania due to the process described above. That marking carried over to the MD title. This Bronco is being sold by the owner that is on the Maryland Title.
