    Description

    Up for bid is a odd vintage Waltham 8 day car clock to restore. WWI - circa 1918 based on the movement serial number. The case measures approx. 83.7 mm in diameter (excuding the stem). The black colored dial is stamped

    The movement is stamped
    WALTHAM WATCH CO. 8 DAY 21864732
    The glass crystal has a crack on it. The watch does not work. Does not tighten when you wind but it does set when you pull the crown out, only counter clockwise. The balance staff looks ok but the wheel doesn’t swing freely. Needs restoration. Sold as found for parts or repair. This clock may have been used on early automobiles like the FORD Model T .
