A 1955 Re-Release Vintage Theater-Used Italian Movie Poster (measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm])
Film Description: Ladri di biciclette (released in the U.S. in 1949 as "The Bicycle Thief", but the literal translation of the title is "The Bicycle Thieves"), the classic 1948 Vittorio De Sica Italian neorealist melodrama "Academy Award outstanding foreign language film 1949"; about a man and his son who search for a vital missing bicycle; most people rightfully consider this one of the handful of absolute finest movies ever made!
This poster dates from the second release in Italy in 1955.
Overall Condition: very good/fine. There is slight darkening on parts of some foldlines and some separation on small parts of some folds and edge tears. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition!
Please note that like all Italian posters of this size (often referred to as a "4 foglio"), this was printed in two separate sections that measure 39x55 inches each.
