    Here is a rare Belgian stock movie poster from Belgian film distribution company Luxor Films of Brussels. It features a beautiful portrait of international singing cowboy star

These stock posters were used by film distributors as an economical way to advertise a particular film featuring a a particular star.  In this case, the title of a Gene Autry movie would be printed or hand written in the top white border or a snipe with the film's title would be attached to the top or bottom of this stock poster. The poster was then able to be reused the next time a Gene Autry film was exhibited. All the theater owner or distributor would do is change the title with a new snipe. This poster is most likely from 1946 or 1947 since it is printed in the smaller, immediate post-war format due to paper shortages. It is also printed on the back of an older pre-war movie poster. It features striking artwork, is in excellent condition for its age and rarely (if ever) comes up for sale or auction.
