This Banknote was issued for 200 Korona by the Miskolczi Orthodox Izraelita Hitkozseg in 1924. This Currency was used within the Jewish Ghetto because of the economic restrictions imposed by the government. This Currency Note was issued prior to the WWII Invasion of Hungary by the German Military Occupation. Following the occupation, most were sent to Auschwitz with a total death toll of 565,000.
