    .  Yes the diameter is 14" and the tread width is 3 3/8".  Runs with 1 AA Battery. (included).  Works great.  Has a second hand and the hour hand is shaped like a wrench and the minute hand is shaped like a screwdriver.  this is not a cheaply made clock but is well constructed.  In excellent condition.   Weighs 5 pounds 12 ounces!
