RAVISHING orig. circa 1941 film poster DANIELLE DARRIEUX rare Hungarian issue

Description

For sale is a ravishingly beautiful original circa 1941 Hungarian film poster for Danielle Darrieux in "Az Elso Csok" ("The First Kiss," probably "Her First Affair," 1941). I bought this poster in a used bookstore in Budapest, Hungary in 1993 and it has been in storage ever since. It measures approximately 32 x 47 inches. It has some chipping loss at the bottom right, in the bottom left hand corner, upper right hand corner, a chip in the middle of the "D" in "Danielle, some light scratches and light tears along the hinged folds, but retains strong coloring and is smashing in person, comprised almost entirely of Darrieux, her shoulder and hair, giving it a wonderful Pop feel, albeit about 20 years earlier with a somewhat noirish, Eastern European feeling. It is signed in the print "Muskovszky" in the lower right hand corner, an artist for which there is little extant information available. Shipping in US, worldwide.
