Kajol celebrates 29 Years of DDLJ, calls the film ‘OG of Karva Chauth’

Bollywood actor Kajol celebrated 29 years of the iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ) with a heartwarming post on Instagram. The film, which continues to be adored by audiences across generations, holds a special place in Indian cinema, and Kajol’s post took fans on a nostalgic journey.
Kajol’s caption playfully referenced the festival of Karva Chauth, writing: “29 years to the OG of Karva Chauth… wishing everyone a very hungry and successful Karva Chauth…maybe go to Maratha Mandir and see the film. #29yearsofddlj #ddlj (sic).”
In the post, Kajol shared a still from the film featuring herself alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Kajol can be seen donning her iconic orange lehenga set, while Shah Rukh Khan sports his famous black leather jacket and the hat with the feather — both signature looks from their characters Simran and Raj.
